Over the past few weeks I’ve talked with a lot of people leaders, and I keep hearing the same worries, even from people in completely different industries.

  • “My people are more stressed than I’ve ever seen them.”

  • “We run training, and a week later nobody remembers it.”

  • “Our departments act like rival kingdoms fighting over the same treasure.”

  • “Nobody knows what’s coming next, and the uncertainty is wearing everyone down.”

  • “I believe in doing training differently, but I have to prove it to the people above me.”

Underneath all of it is usually a leader working long days trying to protect their people. If that’s you, I see you.

We would never prepare a team for the Super Bowl by putting up a PowerPoint (sorry, Lions, I’m still hoping). They get on the field and run the plays until they stick. Our teams deserve the same practice time.

🤯 Researchers at BYU found that 45 minutes of collaborative gaming made teams about 20% more productive on their next task. The teams who only talked things through felt closer, but they performed worse.

When people practice trust, speaking up, and staying steady under pressure in a low-stakes game, those skills bleed into how they show up at work.

That’s exactly what happens around a Dungeons & Dragons table. Your team steps into a shared story, faces challenges together, and gets to try new ways of showing up without the stakes of a real meeting. Then the debrief helps them bring what they learned back to work.

What I keep hearing from people leaders is that they want to bring D&D to their teams themselves, whenever their team needs it.

So I built something to help, and I’m so happy to announce the founding cohort of ✨🎲 Leadership Game Master Training🎲✨

Becoming a Leadership Game Master, you’ll learn how to:

  • Run short, collaborative and cooperative game scenarios built for the workplace (no D&D experience needed), so you can finally offer your team something they actually look forward to

  • Lead the debrief, which is where the real change happens, so the lessons stick long after the game ends and you’re not starting from scratch every time

  • Read the room and adjust when stress runs high, so everyone feels safe enough to take a risk and nobody gets left behind

  • Use play to build high-trust teams, break down silos, and move forward faster, so you can stop refereeing turf wars and watch people start having each other’s backs

  • Facilitate in person or virtually, so your people feel connected no matter where they’re working from

It’s a mix of live group sessions and on-demand video, and the founding cohort is forming now.

The waitlist is the first place to get details on the program. We’ll be holding an info session soon, just for waitlist members, where you can see how it works and ask me anything.
